Information on this website includes extracts from my book on the social history of Thorpe Mandeville,
published in 1996, which recognises the assistance of many parishioners and historians it has not been
possible to acknowledge here.The book gives a comprehensive account of the parish from the Domesday
Book to the late 20th century (119 pages including 10 pages of black and white photographs and maps).
